Like to referee in Croke Park?
Meath GAA has the opportunity to send a number of referees to the Leinster Go Games Play & Stay Blitz Days in Croke Park on Tuesday, April 3rd, from 11am to 5pm.
If your club would like to nominate up to two of their Go Games Referees to attend please contact Jenny Rispin (at 087 7811215) as soon as possible, as places will be limited. Prospecive referees must have completed the Go Games Referee course last year and be available to referee on the 3rd April from 11am to 5pm (allowing an hour each side for travel).
Transport to Croke Park & meals will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to reward our young referees and will hopefully encourage them to take up refereeing again this year.

Walk & Talk 24-hour Walkathon – LAUNCH NIGHT
The Club are hosting a 24-hour “Walk & Talk” Walkathon on the May bank holiday weekend. Full details are available on our post here, and on our special Facebook event.
A formal launch night will be held in the clubhouse this Friday, March 23rd at 9pm, where team leaders will be unveiled and a draw held to assign them to each hour.
If you’d like to join a team, contact Liz at (086) 1205552 to join up.
Each of 24 teams will be lead by their fearless leader and will contain a minimum of 10 participants (there is no upper limit on the participants, so go nuts and try for 20!). Each participant on the team will be asked to raise a minimum of €100 each in sponsorship but again there will be no upper limit so reach for the stars. We will have sponsorship cards available but use whatever method you see fit (legal only please) to raise your funds.
We now have 19 leaders and we thank all those that have come on board to be leaders but we need to fill in the remaining leader slots – if you are interested contact Liz Phelan at 086 1205552.
Please support this event as not only will it help our club and community but also the very worthy charities – Cycle Against Suicide & Meath River Rescue.

The clubhouse is a very important facility in our parish and always needs support. Like other clubs we don’t want to know what it is to be without it. Drop in for a drink or an ESSENCE Coffee or think about using the facility for a party or meeting.
We appreciate your support and value the custom you all give.
