St. Peter’s Dunboyne 0-12
Kiltale suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday, going down by 2 points to St. Peter’s Dunboyne.
The visitors lead 5 points to 3 at half time, after a slow start from Kiltale who had to wait until the 15th minute for their first score of the game, a point from play from James Kelly.
Dunboyne didn’t manage to pull away though and when the home side were awarded a second half penalty there was an opportunity to take the lead, however Shane McGann’s rasper hit the bar and went over for a point, leaving just a point between the teams 9 minutes into the second half.
A brace of points from Cathal McCabe – returning this year after missing most of last year through injury – wasn’t enough though as Dunboyne held on to win by two.
