Thefts during training sessions

We would ask people to be extra vigilant at their grounds/premises especially during training sessions due to number of thefts from vehicles over the last few of days. Please report anything suspicious to the Gardai.

‘Operation Transformation’ – get out walking

Kiltale has been chosen to host a six0week programme in association with ‘Operation Transformation’ for people interested in getting out walking.

The programme will start next Wednesday night, January 22nd, with registration at 6.45pm.

This is open to anybody interested beginners or otherwise who would like to get out to do some walking as part of a group. It will run each Wednesday night for six weeks.

We will have people to help out and give advice on the night. (For people who have not used the track before, the track has floodlights, so it won’t be dark!)

This operation is supported by Meath Sport Partnership and Get Walking Ireland.

There is no charge for this six-week programme – so come one, come all!

Date for your diary

The 2014 club Golf Classic will be held on July 11 at Knightsbrook in Trim.

Check the Meath GAA website for the latest on season tickets for the National League campaigns – great value for supporters of club and county!

As the poem goes…

‘Stars in Their Eyes’ is coming soon
So get your outfits planned.
It’s sure to be the most exciting
Night we’ve ever planned.

If you should see us practice
We will scream and hide our face
Our outfits will, we guarantee,
Cause laughs in outer space.

We will not be performing
On our field of grass so green
We will not be wearing helmets
It’s on the stage we will be seen,

We might twerk like Miley Cyrus
Wear gear like Miss Gaga
We’ll dance and sing to well know tunes
To applause heard from afar.

We will be out to get you
To impress and raise funds high
On December 7th, PLAN AHEAD
For Kiltale’s ‘STARS IN THEIR EYES’!
