Young at Heart Group – There will be a church gate collection in both Churches for the Young @ Heart Group on Saturday and Sunday, 9th and 10th October. On Saturday 25th September a fundraising cycle leaves the clubhouse at 3pm. Get on your bike! €10 per cyclist, all funds for the Young @ Heart Group. On Sunday 26th September there will be an Autumn Party with music and fun in the clubhouse from 5-8pm.

Thank you to all who made the fundraising event for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland such a success in July. The total raised was €2200. A presentation will be made on Saturday 28th August to MDI in Kiltale Club House.

As the next phase of the club complex development – the walking and running track and the completion of the second pitch – nears completion, our fundraising venture will be launched over the coming weeks. Well done to the Kiltale representatives on the  Meath Minor County Hurling team who were narrowly beaten in the ESB GAA Hurling All Ireland Minor “B” Championship Semi-Final In Pairc Tailteann last Sunday. Well done lads, you did your club proud: James Kelly, Tiernan Mahady, William Harnan, Sean Dunleavy, Anthony Forde, Cathal McCabe, Michael Hennessy.

The best of luck to the Kiltale representatives on the Meath U21 team who will play in the Bord Gais Energy GAA All-Ireland U-21 “B” Championship against Roscommon in St. Loman’s Park, Mullingar at 2pm on Saturday.

Kiltale’s Juvenile hurlers will hold a ‘Hurl-a-thon’ at the Hurling Wall on Saturday 12th June from 11am To 3pm. All proceeds go to assist the U14 team representing the club and county in this year’s Féile na Gael competition in Clare. Please support and come along and enjoy the fun during the day.

Congratulations to the U16 team and mentors on winning the U16A Meath Championship last Saturday against Trim.

Kiltale Hurling & Camogie Club will hold their annual presentation night in the Castle Arch Hotel, Trim on Tuesday 16th March 2010 at 8.30pm. The presentation of the Hurling U21 Championship medals and Minor hurling Shield medals will presented. The Intermediate County Camogie Championship medals will be presented to the Kiltale Camogie Intermediate winning team for 2009. Tickets cost €30 and can be purchased from any Committee member of the Hurling & Camogie Clubs. All tickets must be purchased before the night.
